Kampfkatzen

With the Kampfkatzen program, children playfully discover martial arts.

Turning little people into solid personalities - that's what the Kampfkatzen program does. With lots of fun and games, the 3-stage sports program is aimed at active kids of preschool and primary school age. In addition to general fitness, motor exercises are also on the training plan because jumping jacks and the like all too often become real physical challenges in school sports. It is much easier to do gymnastics in a group, and so little Kampfkatzen prefer to practice together than alone. Of course, there are rules to be followed and considerations to be taken. The children take over important building blocks from the program to kindergarten, school, and everyday life. The cuddly Kampfkatze  “Gimmli” accompanies the children with wit and a thirst for adventure through the three-course blocks of 10 lessons each. Just like the grown-ups wear a Gi or Dobok, there is also a typical training outfit for the children's courses. The white T-shirt with a funny Kampfkatzen print on the back serves as a precursor to the later martial arts suit and the uniform dress code in karate or Taekwon-do.

Cuddly cat with potential for addiction - Gimmli is the hero of all children.

Gimmli is nice and good, but he can also be different. The otherwise so cuddly Gimmli doesn't like to be nudged and teased. Wherever danger lurks, the cat knows how to help itself. Claw out and hiss for everyone to hear. Make yourself big, and don't duck when the going gets tough - Gimmli has already learned all that. Now the tomcat wants to show his friends, the children, how they can take care of themselves and correctly assess dangerous situations. In addition to a good portion of courage, this also includes a fit body. In small steps, the children of the Kampfkatzen learn their first self-defense techniques, how to fall correctly and how to use their voice and posture. At the end of each exercise block, the children can present their skills and receive a colored “Kampfkatzen” Budo belt.
