Weapons

Better than their reputation. We'll tell you why martial arts weapons are so important.

Guns do not have a good image; why? In martial arts the use of weapons mostly goes back to historical origins. Self-protection always comes before the actual attack. As a rule, melee or ranged weapons were used to compensate for physical or numerical inferiority. The rather wicked image of gun sport goes back to partly mystical traditions and the secrecy of some teachers. The more athletes are taught how to handle weapons, the better their skills develop. The image of a safely performed sport can then be polished up much more easily. So, if you want to set yourself further through weapons training or see this as your entry into martial arts, you will find everything you need in our shop. From classic weapons with historical roots such as Bokken or Shinai to modern replicas (rubber pistols) for professional self-defense courses.

Improve your body awareness and expand your martial arts training with high-quality weapons.

Little hero on a bunch of keys - our Kubotan without a tip.

You can take your Kubotan with you without a tip on your keychain, even in public, without hesitation. It is currently not subject to the Weapons Act and can therefore be bought and carried completely legally in Germany. The short stick with about 14 cm usually only develops its strength together with solid foundations from martial arts or self-defense. Used correctly, attackers can be put out of action fairly quickly, as you can use your energy like an amplifier. However, it is only effective as a weapon if you can carry out targeted attacks on pain-sensitive parts of the body, which cannot work without suitable training.

Your close combat option with historical background: Tanto made of red oak.

For a safe training process, we also offer many traditional weapons as wooden weapons. The risk of injury is significantly lower about a real knife and sword weapons. Nevertheless, shape and weight remain essential criteria to facilitate a later transition to the originals. The word “Tanto” comes from Japanese and means short sword. It is one of the classic melee weapons and looks back on a long tradition of the notorious samurai. Thanks to the striking blade tip, the blade length is below your Shaku (approx. 30 cm), and the short sword is very stable. Our red oak tanto has a smooth structure and an excellent grip.

Keep your distance and get the support you need with the Bokken.

Another relic of the Japanese samurai: the Bokken. Modeled after the Katana, the Bokken was used for safe training sessions before. With the classic 3-part division, the wooden sword looks simply outstanding in its fish-belly-shaped quality. The red oak used is characterized by its stability, so that contact sword fights can also be conducted with reduced energy. When used correctly, the Bokken is an extension of your arms and acts as a power amplifier. In addition to the high-quality artistry, the non-slip rubber ring with finger protection ensures safety in everyday training. With a length of about 101 cm, the Bokken gives your movements more expressiveness and is mainly used in classic Aikido.

In Kendo, you rely on the power of nature with the bamboo stick Kendo-Shinai.

As a lamellar sword consisting of 4 combined bamboo struts, our 118 cm long Kendo Shinai is suitable for competitions. The sporting rifle has a hard-wearing grip cover and a cap at the tip. As is traditional, the non-blade side is identified using a nylon cord. For more security, our Shinai comes with a matching guard blade (Tsuba) and the Tsubadom. The natural raw material bamboo requires your attention in the care for extended shelf life. In addition to the routine check for chips from each use, your bamboo sword must be protected from drying out. For this, the Shinai should be soaked in water and then treated with a high-quality oil. When assembling, we recommend changing the hit side at regular intervals to avoid one-sided material stress.

Training use under real conditions - professional use of replica weapons.

Occupational groups in security and personal security often must face unexpected dicey situations. Anyone who has already gained experience in handling firearms has a decisive advantage. With our rubber pistol, dangerous situations can be simulated safely, and disarming strategies can be developed. The detailed replica unintentionally provides the necessary adrenaline rush, so actual conditions are created during training. This aspect also leads to the careful use of the rubber weapon. It should always be tightly closed and transported out of sight. Public missions must be registered in order not to cause a lot of stir and trouble.
