Judo - a martial sport of yielding.

Not for nothing is judo also freely translated the ā€œgentle wayā€. The Japanese Kano Jigoro founded in 1882 in Tokyo today the oldest and most important judo school in the world - the Kodokan School. Since then, the triumphant march of martial arts judo has been unstoppable. In addition to the targeted learning of traps and rolling to prevent injuries, also handles and throwing techniques are learned. The goal is to incapacitate the opponent without hurting him or yourself. In Judo, the principle of yielding for Tori (attacker) and Uke (defender) applies.
