Judo - the gentle way to more body feeling.

Judo is now one of the most popular martial arts ever. The focus of judo is not in gripping duels, but rather in the community of athletes - the judoka. Judo is practiced as a fitness-, popular- and competitive sport in more than 150 countries. It is used for self-defense courses, anti-aggression training, integration work and also since the 1970s for disabled sports. This sport, originally from Japan, is mentioned for the first time as early as the 8th century, with the name of the founder of today's Judo, the Japanese Kano Jigoro. Judo has also been an integral part of the Olympic program since the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972. It does not take much to start with this sport, age, and gender, as well as physical conditions, play no essential role here. The Kata (molding) and Randori (practice fight) are traditionally trained on a tatami, the judo mat. Every Judoka wears a Judogi. This is a mostly made of the solid, white cotton two-piece suit made of pants and jacket. As in other classic martial arts, judo also shows the color of your belt, your current performance level. For national and international tournaments, the respective rules of the German Judo Federation (DJB), the International Judo Federation (IJF) or the European Judo Union (EJU) may apply.

“Kirin” a judo-gi with attention to detail.

With its initial size of 130 cm, the Judo-Gi “Kirin” accompanies even small athletes in their first steps in judo sport. The pure cotton suit has a particularly refined fabric structure with rice pattern. This results in a sensationally comfortable fit without sacrificing the features such as robustness, durability and tear resistance. Jacket and trousers are both long and wide on average according to specifications. The lapel is sewn several times and settles softly in the neck area. Also, Hayashi has incorporated in the “Kirin” Judo suit reinforcements in the shoulder, chest, and shoulders. For effective and intensive groundwork, the knees are double stitched. A soft elastic waistband makes “Kirin” especially child-friendly and comfortable. Depending on your wishes, you can choose between classic white or bright blue.

Hayashi Budo belt for all kyu levels.

With Hayashi's Buda Belt you're in the right place in all sports with belt testing. It is extremely stable and has a width of 40 mm. As a pure cotton belt, it is particularly dimensionally stable and can be firmly tied. With the length of your belt, you should keep in mind that the belt must go around 2x and still enough length for the knot to provide a protrusion of about 20 cmon each side. The “expert” binding seems difficult to the beginner, but with a bit of practice, it succeeds quickly. The Hayashi label is embroidered on every belt. We carry all colors in different lengths and thus offer the ambitious athlete a wide range, depending on the level of knowledge.
