In MMA, you can wear whatever you like. In contrast to more traditional martial arts, mixed martial arts do without uniform clothing such as a Gi. Nevertheless, over time, unique clothes adapted to the challenges in MMA have emerged. To support you perfectly on the mat or in the octagon, the tops and pants usually do not offer a large target for your opponent. Skin-tight rash guards and smooth-surfaced compression pants prevent you from sticking together in body-hugging actions. In-ground combat, painful mat burns on otherwise bare skin are prevented. Special MMA shorts have side cuts, so you have enough leeway for high kicks. Classic shirts made of cotton/mixed fabric with motivating MMA prints have proven practical for simple warm-up exercises or the fitness course.
