Took Germany by storm: National Fighting Championship “NFC”.

The National Fighting Championship, “NFC” for short, shows how something unique can emerge from a sibling project. In this format, MMA events in Germany find a dignified framework, and excerpts have been broadcast exclusively on free TV on Sport1 since April 2022. The relatively young MMA organization “NFC” followed new paths from the start and merged with the martial arts platform and streaming service Fighting.de. In addition, a clever solution was found with hotel cooperation to be able to offer event rooms for individual events across the board. The “NFC” not only opens up a new opportunity for MMA professionals to present their skills to a broad audience. With the league format, the NFC series, young talents from the amateur field are spotted. The first event of the NFC event series was held in front of a small audience at the NFT Gym in Krefeld at the end of 2019. At the time, the brothers Florian and Lukas Band certainly had no idea what kind of hype they would trigger with their “NFC.” In the meantime, amateur and professional events are held via the National Fighting Championship, making MMA sport accessible to a broad audience. You can follow the fights live thanks to the impressive event facilities cooperating with the Maritim hotel chain. Those who like it more relaxed can use the streaming service Fighting.de to follow what is happening in the cage at home. All night owls experience the NFC fights on free TV on Sport1 after 11 p.m.
