MMA - no sport without rules.

Anyone who thinks that MMA fighters are only thugs and rough-headed guys is far off the mark. Since the early beginnings, a lot has changed and not everything is allowed for a long time. In the Unified Rules, which are strongly influenced by the styles of Thai boxing, knee joints are forbidden, for example to the head, but elbow strikes on the floor to the head are allowed. The German regulations of the MMA exist since 2009 and almost coincide with the views of the UFC. The biggest difference, however, is the use of the elbow in ground combat, which is prohibited to the head. And not every athlete needs to bring competitive ambitions. For men and women, MMA offers an ideal balance sport with many facets and variants.
