The high-quality wooden sword with a length of 102 cm, is based on a Japanese katana. In contrast to training with a real sword, you do not take any unnecessary risk of injury with the Bokken. The sword is made of robust hardwood and has a high-quality finish. Hardwood, a natural raw material, promises high compressive strength and is used in sports weapon construction and shipbuilding. The slight fish belly shape gives the Bokken its grip and brings a realistic feeling to the sword-stick fight. Due to the clear protective coating of the Bokken, the natural, medium-coarse wood texture is still clearly visible. A finger guard separates the grip zone from the impact zone optically very well and offers additional security against accidental finger strikes.
Additional advantages:
- wooden sword made of hardwood
- including finger protection
- conical shape
- protective coating

Description / Bokken made of hardwood (about 102 cm)
Expressive ranged weapon – Bokken.
Sword fighting is still one of the fine arts in martial arts. Even in early times, real swords were replaced by copies made of wood due to the increased risk of injury. With the Bokken you too can test yourself in the high art of sword fighting and practice effective sword-stick techniques. Due to its shape, the Bokken is particularly easy to grip and fits perfectly in hand.
Hardwood meets the high demands of martial arts.
Sports weapons like a bokken must withstand exceptionally high impact forces and create realistic sensations in the fighter through their swinging behavior. The hardwood used in the Bokken is characterized by material texture and high compressive strength for the weapon sector. A protective coating protects the wooden sword from chips and, above all, from moisture. When storing the Bokken make sure that it is stored in a dry place and protect it from damage caused by water/moisture or intense sunlight.
Traditions with the Bokken.
The German Weapons Act makes exceptions for sports, hunting, or the maintenance of customs, so owning a Bokken is not a weapon that requires a permit. These Bokken is based on the traditional katana, the long sword of the samurai. Like its more prominent role model, it is slightly curved towards the back and made in the ideal longsword length.
