Description / Rebreakable boards “Tameshiwara”
The “Tameshiwara” boards hold together firmly with tongue and groove.
For better orientation, the plastic boards are covered with colored EVA foam. The degree of difficulty increases from light (yellow) to dark (black) – similar to budo belts, which indicate the performance level of the athletes. The splinter-proof material is equipped with a double tongue and groove system at the predetermined breaking point: The two parts hold together securely, but can be easily reconnected if necessary.
Technique and attitude come together in “Tameshiwara.”
Unrestrainedness is an important basis for the breaking test in martial arts. There must be no room for fear in the body; the athlete must trust the technique they have learned 100% – then it is the perfect moment for “Tameshiwara.” The EVA coatings on the pads provide a double boost of motivation. On the one hand, the material is soft and protects the knuckles from abrasions on impact, and on the other hand, the colors encourage more power.
Staying clean during long-term use – caring for the “Tameshiwara”.
Sweat and dirt are among the worst enemies of trainings equipment in group training. To ensure that your “Tameshiwara” boards remain ready for use in the long term, cleaning and storage are important. A slightly damp cloth is sufficient to remove dirt; if necessary, the boards can also be disinfected. Always store them dry and flat to protect the plug-in system. Direct sunlight or heat sources (e.g., heaters) should be avoided so that the material does not wear out prematurely.
