Head Guard “Avantgarde” (WAKO approved)

Those who are smart prioritize safety – the “Avantgarde” head guard from TOP TEN.

The TOP TEN “Avantgarde” head gear for martial arts is designed for your safety down to the smallest detail. The optimized interior layout with Safe-Points on the temples and jaw protects exactly where it counts. A sophisticated system of air holes and channels ensures a cool head and rapid sweat drainage by effectively wicking away moisture—so your vision stays clear. The central bar over the ears reduces pressure on the eardrum during side strikes. The “Avantgarde” headguard is approved for competition by the leading organizations WAKO and ITF due to its outstanding features.

How to find your right size.

The “Avantgarde” martial arts head guard for kickboxing and Taekwon-Do is safe and comfortable for all age groups. You can easily measure your head circumference yourself: Place a measuring tape in the center of your forehead and run it over your ears to the back. The strong hook & loop fasteners at the chin and back of the head ensure that the protector can be individually adjusted to any head shape—for a secure fit with every strike.

• Size S: for kids ages 6 and up (head circumference 50 cm and up)
• Size M: for head circumferences 55–60 cm
• Size L: from 59 cm

Airback Technology – Protection that reacts.

When the impact comes, proper padding makes all the difference. Inspired by safety concepts from the automotive industry, TOP TEN relies on air for padding in the “Avantgarde.” Inside the PUR foam are air-permeable cells that react immediately with every hit: They equalize pressure in a fraction of a second (air-back-technology) and distribute the impact energy precisely. The result: noticeably less strain for maximum control during the fight. To ensure this self-contained system functions at all times, the surface is sealed with a smooth outer layer.
