The reversible mats have a top and bottom side in red and blue for designing sports and competition areas. However, the highlight is hidden in the green layer – the non-fossil core of your “Green” Tatami floor mat. The green foam inside is a by-product of sugar cane processing. Polyethylene, which is obtained from it, has been shown to save 20% CO2 compared to traditional foam production.
