Description / Dobok “Classic”
In the beginning, Taekwon-Do focuses on the color white.
Why white? Especially parents of sporty kids get gray hair at the thought of white sports clothes. But it is not bad if you are as uncomplicated to care for as the “Classic ITF” Dobok from TOP TEN. In many martial arts, including Taekwon-Do, wearing the typical white sports uniform is obligatory after the trial lessons. On the one hand, it protects the body from injuries much better than your favorite shirt and sweatpants ever could, and on the other hand, all athletes look the same - regardless of all material and social aspects.
With cotton and polyester, the “Classic ITF” cuts a fine figure.
The TOP TEN Taekwon-Do suit “Classic ITF” is robust yet skin-friendly. Its 65% cotton fibers are blended with 35% polyester fibers to create a premium performance fabric. Light and yet tear-resistant, the Dobok is designed for long service life. Breathable and sweat wicking, it regulates your body temperature so you can last longer.
In Kup tests, the “Classic ITF” gets a color upgrade.
Kup tests provide orientation so that the athletes’ performance levels in Taekwon-Do can be more easily distinguished. In the total of 10 Kup, your belt has different colors. If a Kup test is passed, you will be awarded a belt of the next Kup color. With some practice, you will soon be swapping your white belt of the “Classic ITF” Dobok for a colored model.
